Ansaldo Caldaie specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of Utility Boilers, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, and Biomass & Waste to Energy Boilers. The Company�s operational headquarters are located in Gallarate, about 40 km from Milan, where the estimation & sales, engineering, project management, procurement and administration teams are based, while our registered office and factory are located in Gioia del Colle (BA) in the south of Italy on an overall area of 300,000 sq.m.
Established in 1853 as �Ansaldo�, in 2001 Ansaldo Caldaie became a privately owned Company following the acquisition by SOFINTER, an Italian private Holding that gathers companies active in the power and water business sectors. The Company�s range of products and services includes:   - Utility boilers, sub-critical and supercritical, coal, gas and oil fired  - Heat Recovery Steam Generators downstream of gas turbines of 70 MWe to 260 MWe  - Biomass and waste to energy boilers  - In-furnace NOx emission reduction solutions (low NOx coal/gas/oil burners, Over Fire Air, Re-burning injectors, Flue Gas Re-circulation systems)   - Rehabilitations, Fuel conversions, Retrofits of existing Steam Generators		In addition, Ansaldo Caldaie has extensive experience in burning Orimulsion, SynGas, Coke-oven Gas. The product development is validated by the tests performed in the Company�s state-of-the-art Combustion Research Centre equipped with a 50 MWth Combustion Test Rig and a 6 MWth Re-burning simulation facility. The test facilities can perform full scale burners and reduced scale NOx emission reduction systems tests for both Ansaldo Caldaie and third parties such as gas turbine manufacturers (Ansaldo Energia, Siemens), certifying bodies (CESI), utility companies (ISAB Energy, ERG).
