Patrick Clerens has been the Secretary General of EPPSA since its establishment in Brussels in January 2005. Building upon his prior experience as EPPSA�s Brussels Representative since 2003, he liaises between member companies and the EU institutions on issues related to energy and clean fuel technology.  

Since 1991, he has worked as a consultant for a private company specialising in European Affairs. Mr. Clerens holds degrees from the Universities of Saarbr�cken and Mainz.
